Binary options trading on Q5Trade
Pick a market, choose whether the price will rise or fall (or another contract type), set your stake and a duration, and know your possible payout before you confirm. No order books, no leverage and no margin calls: the most you can lose on a trade is the stake you chose.
Contract types you can trade
- Rise / Fall — will the closing price be higher or lower than the opening price?
- Even / Odd — will the last digit of the closing price be even or odd?
- Over / Under — will the last digit be over or under a digit you pick?
- Matches / Differs — will the last digit match your digit, or be different?
How a binary options trade works
- Choose a market, such as EUR/USD, Bitcoin or Volatility 100.
- Choose the contract type and, for digit contracts, your digit.
- Set the stake (from $1) and the duration (30 seconds, 1, 2, 5 or 15 minutes).
- Confirm. The payout is shown first. When the timer ends the result is decided by the live market price, and a win is credited to your Real balance straight away. If the price is exactly unchanged on Rise/Fall, your stake is refunded.
Payouts and limits
- A winning Rise/Fall or Even/Odd trade pays 1.952× your stake (about 95% profit). Digit contracts pay according to their odds, and the exact payout is always shown before you confirm.
- Minimum stake $1, maximum $10,000 per trade, up to 20 trades open at the same time.
